ASKING THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME

13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:13

This is an amazing verse and part of the most important truths we need to understand when it comes to healing. If you are suffering from sickness, you have the right to ask God the Father for healing. And when we ask, we should ask in Jesus’ name! Philippians 2:9-10 teaches us that God gave Jesus the name that is above all names, and that everything in heaven, on the earth, and under the earth has to bow to HIS NAME. Satan would love for us to suffer in sickness but he cannot oppose Jesus’ name. He and his sickness have to bow to Jesus!

Peter said to a crippled man: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk, and the man walked (Acts 3:6).

Paul said to a demon: I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her, and the insane woman was perfectly restored (Acts 16:18).

Jesus left HIS name with us. We have the right to use it. LUKE 10:17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” Satan has to bow to the name of Jesus.

There is a confidence we can have in Jesus. That if we ask for anything according to his will, in his name, that he hears us and answers us. (1 John 5:14-15).

Up to this time, you have asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full! John 16:24

Let’s ask for healing in Jesus name! HE IS WILLING! BE HEALED!

“JESUS, today I ask for healing in your name! You went to the cross and your body was broken for my pains and sicknesses. Thank you for bearing my sickness Lord! In the name of Jesus, I ask for me and my family to be healed, that our JOY MAY BE FULL!” Thank you, LORD. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!”
